The mysql server is configured without a password and configured not to allow root with no password.

To resolve this:

vi /jet/etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php

Change

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = FALSE;

To:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = TRUE;

Make sure you set the password and change this back to FALSE.
create a new user in mysql maybe “wordpressuser” with a password.
Edit:

vi /jet/app/wordpress/wp-config.php

Set new password and user here

/** The name of the database for WordPress */^M
define('DB_NAME', 'wordpress');^M
^M
/** MySQL database username */^M
define('DB_USER', 'wordpressuser');^M
^M
